The Future of NetRexx

Talk Abstract
NetRexx (Mike Cowlishaw, IBM, 1996), a dialect of Rexx, one of the first scripting languages, if not the first, is slated to go open source somewhere end of this year. The talk introduces the language and its translator, states its unique features and the way it interacts with the Java VM. Plans for its open future will be unfolded.
